Sedat "The Turkish Avenger" aka Billy Lo |
Originaly turkish but born and raised in Belgium “Sedat the Turkish Avenger” aka Billy Lo is one of the most remarked talents among european Dj/producers/remixers. He started producing Hip Hop in the early 90’s, he began experimenting house tracks in the late 90’s, inspired by Chicago Flava and later by French house. This meticulous hard worker interrested by sensual funk vibes and ruff swingin beats found the good way between energy, sentimentality and his flavored spices which make the character of all these pieces. His first releases on LEGATO & SCULPTURE rec. quickly gave him the opportunity to remix Paul Johnson, Sandy Rivera, Suburban Knight…and create music played by the biggest worldwide dj’s like Roger Sanchez, Junior Sanchez, Carl Cox, Kevin Sanderson, Bad Boy Bill, Armand Van Helden, Ian Pooley, Judge jules, Pete Tong, etc…Purchasing his quest he created his first label RUMPSHEYKA with bombs like Party People and Motorfunk that both were in Carl Cox’s top 5 and australian tour compilation, staying in the aiming line of labels like Ministry of Sound (London), Dis-Funktionnal (London), Ihr (Chicago), BiPolar (Detroit), … After a remarked introduction of his “Turkish Avenger” on DAFT PUNK’s member’s Label CRYDAMOURE, which is still a underground classic, he decided to create a new Label “STREET NOSTAL’FREAK” with the so much loved “TAKE ME CE SOIR” still in every french house lovers heart… at the same time he released “DA FIST FUNK ep” on NOCTURNAL Rec. still a strong dancefloor dynamite and his Heavy Weight ep or his remix for Vitamin D’s “LATIN TRACK” on BAD BOY BILL’s IHR rec. in Chicago In 2009 Sedat marks his return with “GENESIS” & “SUNRISE” on the legendary Alan Braxe’s label VULTURE!!! You could also witness his skillz on his rmx for STRIP STEVE’s “AM FM” on BOYSNOIZE records & GENTLE FRED’s summer bomb "SUGAH SUGAH on SCULPTURE Records in 2010. Considering that a maximum of fat sound is more effective then too many words, just put it on your decks and ROCK THE DISCOTHEQUE….. www.myspace.com/sedattheta stats

Je l’adore ce titre. L’original et ce remix. Frais, funky et une basseline dense et entraînante. Fantastic job ; )
